A Helping Voice is a warmline intended to support mandated reporters in the state of Maine in decision making and provide resources when the decision to report to adult protective services (APS) is unclear. The warmline launched in 2021 and remains an active program within the Elder Abuse Institute of Maine (EAIME). For more information, please visit the website: https://www.ahelpingvoice.org/
The project was funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation under the Interdisciplinary Research Leaders Program, a collaboration between Zach Gassoumis in the USC Department of Family Medicine, Patricia Kimball at EAIME, and Stuart Lewis at Dartmouth University.
