Stephanie Whittier Eliason, MSW, is the Elder Rights Team Lead in the U.S. Administration for Community Living (ACL). She is responsible for ACL’s Adult Protective Services portfolio, including the National Adult Maltreatment Reporting System, and elder abuse prevention programming. During her career, Ms. Whittier Eliason has been an advocate for residents’ rights in residential care facilities, served as a legislative assistant, and conducted research on the implementation of the National Family Caregiver Support Program.Â
