Roberta Peterson is a gerontologist who serves as a Project Administrator for the USC Keck School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine, focusing on project and research coordination. She also collaborates with the Elder Abuse Institute of Maine (EAIME) and the RISE Collaborative. Her interest in understanding and preventing elder mistreatment, coupled with a passion for project management, led her to collaborate with leaders in the elder justice field who spearhead meaningful initiatives. She graduated from USC Bovard College with a Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM), the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology with a Master of Science (MSG), and holds a Bachelor of Art in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University.

Before joining Family Medicine, Roberta focused her graduate studies on elder mistreatment, interning for the National Center on Elder Abuse, The SCAN Foundation, and Independent Living Systems, LLC. She played a leadership role for the California Council on Gerontology and Geriatrics (CCGG), and with the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology.
